The Spot is a showcase of work created by students enrolled in Intermediate Web Development at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Learning outcomes of this course include:

• Demonstrating an understanding of website layout design, usability and usability assessment, and concepts of accessibility.
• Demonstrating and understanding of HTML5 inline and block elements, how to forms that include validation, and how to embed digital media.
• Understanding elements of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and how to use them in website design.
• Learning basic JavaScript to create interactive effects.
